Egg and I went to Myeongdong in Strathfield today with his bestie for some Korean food! It’s right next to Kingpin Bowling and Holey Moley, so it’s the perfect place for dinner before/after some entertainment.

We ordered just three items:

1. Beef soup
2. Seafood pancake
3. Korean fried chicken (sweet chilli sauce)

It totalled up to exactly $100 for the three of us (with a takeaway container). So around $33 per person.

The beef soup came with a bowl of rice and there were heaps of free side dishes! Honestly, we joke that the amount of side dishes available meant that you can probably get a way with a very nutritious dinner for just $3 (a bowl of rice). We had lots of fried chicken left over as well (from a small portion).

I think I’d really recommend this place! They’re open until pretty late and is great for a larger group of people.

After looooong walk around the Sydney CBD trying to find a place to eat, Beret and I ended up in a place called Boon Cafe - a gorgeous cafe that has all things Thai, even a whole ass Thai grocery section! This place truely feels like a love letter to Thailand with its wide selection of authentic Thai foods including a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu.

I got the khuk khu and the coconut pandang drink. The khuk khu was very flavourful, packed full of delicious ingredients like crab and pork crackling. It was however, a little bit too salty and oily by the end of the meal, but still a very enjoyable dish!

The coconut pandang drink was an absolute treat! It was my first time experiencing that combination of flavours. It was a refreshing, sweet and satisfying drink. The crushed ice and little wafer stick was a tasty touch too.

Overall, I definitely rate this place and will come back someday!

It's actually been a while since Egg got this to work from a CMS, but life got in the way and we never got around to making any posts...

Today, I made the blog area mobile responsive! So the site should look nice on mobile too now. There are still some places that can be improved though... (I want to make it so that the filters only show up when you scroll up since it takes up a lot of content space)

But! This will be the spot where you can keep up to date with our adventures. We'll be writing some posts on places you might want to visit and other things that go on in our life.
